Chamber of Agribusiness lauds Planting for Food and Jobs

The Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana (CAG), the largest agricultural stakeholders' organisation in the country, has described the country's agricultural flagship programme "Planting for Food and Jobs" as the 'Most Outstanding Program' amongst many interventions introduced by the government.


In a citation to the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the CAG, led by its National Chairperson, Madam Marjorie Abdin, noted that the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) programme is revolutionary step towards reviving the agricultural sector.


It said the PFJ programme holds massive prospects for the agricultural industry, stressing that the policy has evoked "euphoria, excitement and unparalleled coverage" for players in the industry.


Dr. Akoto expressed appreciation to the CAG for recognising the contribution of the Ministry and reiterated the commitment of government towards agriculture.
