DEPUTY REGIONAL MINISTER PAYS WORKING VISIT TO ADENTAN MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

Mrs Elizabeth Naa Tsotso Sackey, Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister, has paid a working visit to the Adentan Municipal Assembly as part of her tour of District and Municipal Assemblies in the Region.

 

Mrs Sackey, who was accompanied by staff of the Greater Accra Regional Co-ordinating Council (RCC), met the Heads of Department and Units of the Assembly and urged all workers to eschew laziness, indiscipline and absenteeism.

 

She announced that clock in system would soon be introduced to track attendance which would help in performance appraisal.

 

The Deputy Regional Minister gave the assurance that she would help address the challenges of the Assembly as presented to her.

 

Nii-Noi Adumuah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), assured the Deputy Regional Minister that the Adentan Municipal Assembly would work extremely hard, adding “it is our aim to be the first among all the 231 Assemblies in Ghana.

 

Mr Adumuah disclosed that the Assembly had recorded some achievements which he enumerated as the four (4) Research farms, the Mushroom project and Waste segregation, among others.
