BELGIUM’S QUEEN MATHILDE VISITS PROMUSH PROJECT

Her majesty, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, has visited the Promoting Mushroom Industry (PROMUSH) at Ogbojo in the Adentan Municipality to acquaint herself with project operations and interact with a cross section of stakeholders.

Queen Mathilde, who is in Ghana at the invitation of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was accompanied by Professor Gyan Baffour, Minister of State and the Greater Accra Deputy Regional Minister, Hon. Elizabeth Naa Tsotso Sackey.


The Queen urged women and the youth to take advantage of the project to earn a livelihood.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Nii Noi Adumuah, expressed appreciation for the Queen’s visit.

PROMUSH ―a three-year project which is funded by the European Union (EU) with contributions from the Center for Local Governance Advocacy and Local Government Network― was initiated to improve local economic development within the Adentan Municipality as well as improve the financial visibility of the municipality.
