President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has returned home after attending the Founding Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Summit in New Delhi, India.

He was met on arrival, yesterday, by the Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei Opare, some Ministers of State, Government Officials and some Presidential staffers at the Presidency.

The President, last Friday, left Ghana for India to attend the ISA Summit at the invitation of India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

The Summit, which was attended by 25 Heads of State and Government, provided the platform for co-operation among solar resource rich countries, aimed at realizing “the common goals of increasing the use of solar energy in meeting the energy needs of ISA member countries in a safe, convenient, affordable, equitable and sustainable manner.
